🤔 About the Role:
As the Head of People at Suvera you will lead on the execution of the people strategy at Suvera. This means being responsible for the entire people experience at Suvera and the roadmap that dictates the work we still have to do. For the business this role will make sure we hire and retain some of the best talent in the industry, who love working at the company and see a clear future of building their career at Suvera
This role will report directly to the Co-founder and CEO and sit as part of the company leadership team - compensated with a base salary between £80,000- £90,000 depending on experience and qualifications (not including equity package which will be on par with the rest of the leadership team)

Suvera is a digital health start-up on a mission to keep people in good health wherever they are in the world. We are backed by Google for Startups and the preeminent, global healthcare and technology venture capital firm Morningside Ventures, led by Dr. Gerald Chan.
We partner with general practices in the UK to deliver a virtual-first clinic that proactively supports the management of patients with long-term conditions. Today, we support the management of over 4,000 patients and have a robust pipeline to more than 10x that this year.
We are team of less than 30 with phenomenal advisors, including Professor Bryan Williams who is the chair of Medicine at UCL and the man behind high blood pressure guidelines for the UK. We are a cross-functional team of people from all backgrounds, including our own internal Care Team which employs both clinicians and care advisors.
We have honest ambitions to become the largest healthcare provider in the world.

💻 What you'll be doing :
- Culture & Performance
- Lead us in amplifying our culture, values, and behaviours throughout our people experience at Suvera.
- Building on our internal processes around onboarding, performance enablement, talent & succession planning using the Hibob platform so that every interaction is of the highest quality.
- Work with other leaders to ensure we are setting our team up to perform to the top of their potential eg review our current ‘What good looks like framework’ as we grow
- Utilise ongoing employee insights and feedback to guide the business, so any resulting actions lead to high team engagement and sense of belonging.
- Learning & development
- Ensure Suverians have access to great growth and learning opportunities to enable high performance and to support them to achieve their goals.
- Craft and define progression paths for our people so that we can retain top talent and provide an opportunity for our team to grow their careers with us.
- Compensation and Benefits
- Lead on the evolution of our Pay and Equity Philosophy, and the associated processes
- Ensure that we have a leading approach to benefits and keep up with talent expectations
- Enable a culture of progression and promotion that is aligned with our values
- People Leadership
- Oversee our hiring strategy in partnership with a Talent lead for the company as we grow - including growing the people and talent talent
- Acting as a trusted advisor as part of the Leadership team for all people and culture related issues
- Support on internal communication to ensure we bring our team with us on the exciting roller coaster that lies ahead.
- Coaching people managers through employee relation issues and making tough decisions around performance and dismissal.

👀 We're looking for someone who:
Should have:
- Been a People lead, Head of People, VP People or Chief People Officer role in a scaling tech business from about 20 to 60+ people
- Experience executing people strategy across diverse teams from product, design, tech, to operations and business development
- A strong People generalist background with experience of the full employee lifecycle
- Confident in influencing and advising leadership and management on employment matters, as you have a sound working knowledge of UK employment legislation and its application.

- Prior experience working in a healthtech company (startup or SME)
- Prior experience hiring or retaining clinical staff
- CIPD qualification
